We only collect what we need to make, send and invoice your order. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads that track you, and this website uses no tracking or analytics cookies.

01Who is responsible

Julia Bober is the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For anything about your data, write to the email above.

02What we collect

• When you order: your name, email, phone number, delivery address, and anything you choose to add at checkout (InPost locker code, NIF, gift note), plus what you bought and how much you paid.
• Payment details: entered directly on Stripe's secure page. We never see or store your full card number.
• When you write to us by email or Instagram: your name, contact details and your message.
• Your bag: saved only in your own browser (local storage) so it's still there when you come back. It never reaches us until you check out.

03Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To make and deliver your order and answer questions about it: needed to carry out our contract with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
• To issue your invoice and keep accounting records: required by Portuguese tax law (art. 6(1)(c)).
• To handle returns, guarantee claims, complaints and payment disputes, and to prevent fraud: our legitimate interest in running the shop safely (art. 6(1)(f)).
• To answer your messages: our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps you ask for before ordering (art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

We don't send marketing emails. If we ever start a newsletter, it will be opt-in only.

04Who we share it with

Only with the services we need to run the shop, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Ireland): takes your payment and checks it for fraud.
• InPost: delivers your parcel and sends you tracking messages.
• Autoridade Tributária (Portuguese Tax Authority): receives the invoice details, as the law requires.
• Cloudflare: hosts this website and protects it from attacks. It processes technical data such as your IP address.
• Google: our email (Gmail) and the fonts on this website (Google Fonts), which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address.
• Meta: if you contact us on Instagram, under Instagram's own privacy policy.

Some of these companies may process data outside the EU, for example in the United States. When they do, they rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses to protect it.

05How long we keep it

• Invoices and accounting records: for as long as Portuguese tax law requires (currently 10 years).
• Other order details (such as your phone number, locker code and gift note): up to 3 years after delivery, the length of the legal guarantee, then deleted.
• Messages that don't lead to an order: up to 1 year.

06Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Your bag is saved in your browser's local storage, which you can clear at any time. When you go to checkout, Stripe's payment page may set its own cookies, needed for secure payment and fraud prevention.

07Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• see the data we hold about you, and get a copy;
• correct anything that's wrong;
• delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it (for example, invoices);
• limit how we use it, or object to uses based on our legitimate interest;
• receive your data in a format you can take elsewhere.

Email [email protected] and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt), or the authority in your own EU country.

08Children

Our shop is not aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

09Changes

If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.

01Who we are

"I am just a girl" is a small studio that designs and 3D prints home decor. The seller is:

These terms apply to every order, whether placed on our website, through a payment link or by direct message. By completing payment you confirm that you accept them.

02Products

• Our products are decorative objects, 3D printed by us in PLA, a plant-based plastic. Small layer lines, slight colour variation and tiny surface marks are normal and are not defects.
• Photos are as accurate as we can make them, but colours may look slightly different on your screen.
• Safety: not a toy and not suitable for children under 14. Not food-safe and not dishwasher-safe. Keep away from heat above 50 °C. Use LED candles only.

03Prices and payment

• All prices are in euros. VAT is not charged: IVA – regime de isenção (artigo 53.º do CIVA).
• The total price, including shipping, is shown before you pay. Shipping is free on orders over €60 delivered to Portugal or Spain.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• An invoice (fatura) is issued for every order through the Portal das Finanças and sent to your email. Add your NIF at checkout if you want it on the invoice.

04Your order

Your order is confirmed, and our contract is formed, when your payment is completed. If a product turns out to be unavailable, we tell you right away and refund you in full within 14 days.

05Shipping and delivery

• We ship from Portugal with InPost, to a parcel locker or to your door, to the countries shown at checkout.
• We usually dispatch within 5 working days. Personalised pieces may take longer; the time is shown on the product. We always deliver within 30 days unless we agree otherwise.
• You receive a tracking number by email or SMS. Please check your address, phone number and locker code.
• If your parcel arrives damaged, send us photos within 7 days. This does not limit your legal rights.

06Right of withdrawal (returns)

If you live in the EU, you can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

• How: email [email protected] before the 14 days end. You may use the model form in the PDF, but you don't have to.
• Return: send the item back within 14 days of telling us, unused and well packed. You pay the return postage.
• Refund: price plus original standard shipping, within 14 days, to the same payment method. We may wait until the item is back with us or you show proof of sending.

07Legal guarantee

Every product has the legal guarantee of conformity of 3 years from delivery (Decree-Law 84/2021). If something is faulty or not as described, we repair, replace, reduce the price or refund. Normal wear, the natural look of 3D printing and damage from heat or drops are not covered.

08Your personal data

We use your name, contact details and address only to process, ship and invoice your order and answer your messages. We share them only with Stripe (payment), InPost (delivery) and the Tax Authority (invoice), and keep invoice records for 10 years as the law requires. Your basket is saved only in your own browser. Ask us to see, correct or delete your data at [email protected]. You can also complain to the CNPD (cnpd.pt). Full details in our privacy policy.

09Complaints and disputes

• Write to us first at [email protected]. We reply within 3 working days.

10Law and changes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of that country. The version published when you order is the one that applies.
